Our Approach

Here at China Healing Center Inc, in Sarasota, Florida, we combine traditional Chinese acupuncture along with traditional Chinese and modern medicines. The clever ancient Chinese Doctors left very precious gifts to us: Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. These gifts are very effective tools. They have helped people overcome disease for over four thousand years. I really appreciate our Chinese ancestors and the brilliant ancient treasure they have left for us. I am proud to follow in their footsteps as a Chinese Doctor and acupuncturist.

My own philosophy is that we combine modern medical technology and traditional Chinese acupuncture to develop it further. This helps make acupuncture more efficient.

What makes me the happiest is to help people get well and recover from their suffering. When my patients smile as they leave my office and tell me, “Dr. Shao, I am feeling so much better!”, it reminds me why I love Chinese Acupuncture.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

What is Traditional Acupuncture?

Traditional Acupuncture is an ancient chinese healing art. Very fine, ,sanitary needles are in inserted into various points of the body to relieve pain, regulate circulation and improve body functions. Acupuncture has been one of the principal means of medical treatment in China for more than 4,000 years.

How does Traditional Acupuncture work?

Recently, science determined that human beings are complex bioelectric systems. This understanding has been the foundation of Acupuncture.  Energy circulates throughout the body along well defined pathways. Points on the skin along the pathways are energetically connected to specific organs, body structures and systems.  If this engy circulation is disrupted, optimum function is affected and results in pain or illness.  Acupuncture stimulates the circulation of energy, influencing the health of the entire body.

How does Laser Acupuncture work?

Laser Acupuncture works for many conditions by penetrating a laser energy at a targeted tissue or meridian through associated acupoints. There are thousands of published studies demonstrating the clinical effectiveness of laser therapy.  The clinical research demonstrates the following benefits of Laser Acupuncture.

1. Repairing damaged tissue and speeding healing time.

2. Improving blood flow and lymphatic drainage.

3. Improving Immune response

4. Enhancing nerve regeneration and vessel growth

5. Reducing swelling and inflammation

6. Stop or reduces many pain symptoms

What Patients Say

Ecoli in Kidneys

I had Ecoli in my kidneys and bladder and been getting treatments for this for the past 28 months by three different doctors in Orlando, Tampa and Sarasota, who were specialists in the field, all with no success. I asked Dr. Shao if he could help this and said he would try.  Within two (2) months, he has reduced my infections numbers by half of what it had been for 28 months. (In excess of one hundred thousand). It has been reduced to zero and I have been clear for the last three months.

I would recommend anyone having trouble getting relief with traditional American medicine to go to Dr. Shao for his acupuncture, laser and Chinese herbal medicine treatment.
